Activities
In addition to weekly Church Services and Religious Education, the church offers many other spiritual, community service and social activities. See our newsletter for specifics.
- The Committee for Peace and Justice meets monthly to explore and discuss social justice issues.
- Discussion Forums are held on Sunday mornings prior to the service twice each month during the school year. Topics range from travelogues to current issues.
- A men’s group meets twice a month to explore emotional and spiritual issues important to men. Ask the minister or call the church office to find out how to get in touch with this group.
- A women’s ritual group meets monthly for varied rituals led by group members. The group’s drumming circle gathers once a month and occasionally performs at local venues.
- SPIRAL (Supporting Pagans in Ritual and Life) meets monthly for family-friendly rituals or other programs of interest.
- The Care Committee maintains the telephone tree, sends cards, arranges meals for members in need, and assists the minister in providing pastoral care to all members of our congregation.
- A potluck lunch follows the service the first Sunday of each month. There’s always plenty of food for all visitors to join us. We’re great cooks!
- Round Robin Dinners (organized potlucks) on the second Saturday of each month allow small groups of members and friends to enjoy casual conversation and great food.
- The Wednesday Night Feasters gather at a different restaurant the last Wednesday each month.
- The women of the church meet for potluck dinner in the hostess’s home the first Friday of each month.
